Nagi Gianni's artistic practice explores the forms, movements, and representations of the body. Through sculptures, installations, and performances, he questions the human condition, its vulnerabilities, and alienations in its confrontation with alterity. Metamorphosis becomes a space of emancipation, redefining the relationship between the intimate and the external, inner life and visibility. His sculptures, derived from casts and bodily fragments, capture tensions and postures, engaging in dialogue with the living body in his performances. Masks and prostheses shift the body's boundaries, opening up possibilities for its mutations. Drawing from an imaginary world populated by spectral, animal, and cyborg figures, Nagi Gianni challenges societal and bodily norms, inviting an exploration of dimensions such as dreams and the invisible, beyond the rationalizing frameworks of Western thought.

His work has been presented in Switzerland and internationally, in art centres and independent art spaces (Centre d’Art Contemporain Genève, Zabriskie Point , Espace Labo Geneva, Tinguely Museum Basel, Cité Internationale des Arts Paris, Bally Foundation Lugano, CCA Zamek Ujazdowski Warsaw, Elizabeth Garden New York, ...) as well as in theaters (Arsenic Lausanne, Théâtre de l'Usine Genève), and festivals (Festival Antigel, Loftas Fest Vilnius, Binálé Budapest, ...)
